Very poor grill temperature

Char Broil Performance series 2 burner bbq
The grill bar temperature has never been hot enough for effective searing. Nothing to do with gas pressure etc. The only way to get it hot enough is to keep the lid permanently shut while cooking giving everything a sooty grease finish. The IR emitter plates are easily clogged with food debris. The idea you can burn off food debris and turn to ash is a joke.
Problem since new with different regulator fitted, all burners checked etc.
Would never recommend this product

No battery included

So, I decided to get in early and buy a new BBQ as looks like summer holidays will be in our back garden this year! Decided on the Char-Broil gas grill. Took about 2 hours to bolt, screw and push together. Tried automatic lighting. Didn't work. Watched a video on YouTube where a guy said maybe battery needs replacing. Battery? What battery? Nothing in packaging. Nothing in instructions. Turns out, having spent hundreds on a new BBQ they don't even give you an AA battery OR MENTION THAT YOU NEED ONE! Yet to try cooking on it. Do I need meat?!!

Cracking products but the after sales…

Cracking products but the after sales is absolutely shocking. Don’t loose the receipt or you’re completely on your own regards any warranty or help. It’s a shame really because the bbq is amazing.

NO! BEWARE!

The grates I ordered were the wrong size. Only have 30 days to return and they require you call to get an RA# in order to return... BUT they do not answer their phone and automatically disconnect you if you decide to wait on hold - which I did TWICE for over 20 minutes both times. Their website does not have anyone available for chat. They take emails but say it take at least 1o days to expect a response... guess we'll see. If you use this company, do so at your own risk and be prepared for NO CUSTOMER SUPPPORT or ability to get help. Good chance you'll end up just burning your money and having to go somewhere else. You've been warned.
